Dark General Freed Gold Tournament

Greetings, to all the members of the Dark General Freed Gold Dorm. We now have a large number of members within your ranks, and we need to supply you all with a Dorm Leader of sorts.

As a rule, we want the best of your Dorm for the Dorm Leader. The Best should be Adept when it comes to Rulings, Duelings and basic knowledge of the game. As this is true, we will not simply host a poll in order to decide your Dorm Leader.

You will all duel for the position. Dark General Freed Gold members will participate in a tournament in order to decide the Dorm Leader. As the Tournament progresses, members will be eliminated until only one remains - the new Dorm leader.

Tournament Type: Event
Tournament Rules: The Special Rules of the Tournament include:
The Ban list will consists of the DDA Testing Banlist. Please refer to the Rubric to find this Ban list.
Duels will be done in a Match-base format, the victor having to win 2 games in order to proceed.
The Tournament will be double elimination. After losing a battle, you will be moved to a separate Bracket, where you will duel against the others members that lost their duels. The winner of the Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket will battle it out for the title. Although this may seem unfair, this is to ensure that the luck of the draw isn't the only factor to kick you out of the tournament.
No OCG Cards may be played during the Tournament. Although this is listed within the Testing Banlist, I want to make sure no one gets any ideas.
The Duels will all take place one at a time, that way an Administrator can look over the duel and make sure nothing goes amiss. While determining the Dorm Leader, an Administrator has every right to choose someone other than the victor as the Dorm Leader, due to an observation.
Tournament Cost: This Tournament is free.
Participants Restriction: Normally, you would think that only Dark Freed Gold members could participate. We are opening the Tournament up to all Dorms; from Grepher to Creator. Grepher members, this is your chance to prove that you deserve a ranks among the Dark Freed Gold ranks. Dark Creator orange members, although this will be a step down, this will give you an access for a Staff position.
