When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle, or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can target 1 monster they control; destroy that target, then you can Special Summon 1 "Ice Hand" from your Deck.

One of the most annoying aspects of these cards is the opponent can attack into your own monsters and the effect will go off, allowing them to pop several of your cards for the price of one. They are a huge pain and have found their way into many meta decks, such as madolche, artifacts, traptrix, and traptrix artifacts.

Ruling of the Cards:

If fire or ice hand were to die, their popping effect MUST have a target if they are to special summon from the deck.

If they are normal summoned and you solemn warning it, the effect to pop and special will go off because it was "in their possession."

When they are destroyed by battle, their effects go off in the damage step, so you can not chain cards such as mystical space typhoon.



Provide card examples or situations of using common cards to avoid getting spammed by these cards. You get 20 dp for each example/card. You can get at most 50 dp (the 3rd gives example/card gives 10 dp). Be sure to explain how/why these cards/strategies work. this home work is due 8/10/14

Here are my personal favorite ways to get rid of the Hands combo:
1.) The Classic Abyss Dweller
This card has become a staple in most decks that can pull off rank 4 Xyz summons cause if these cards alone. The effect makes all effects activated in the graveyard to be nullified, which breaks the cycle that can be pulled off by the Hands. The only drawback is that the effect can only be used twice, so you'd have to pack multiple Dwellers to get rid of a whole set of hand combos.
2.) Nobleman of Crossout
This spell is fantastic against the hands as it sends the cards to the banished pile and negates the effects of the Hands to cause the Hands must be destroyed to have the effects work. As such, this card is a nice alternative to popping the Hands safely.
3.) Skull Meister
This card is truly under-rated in that he is a better version of D.D Crow in terms of a beater and his effect can negate the Hands when they are sent to the grave. His effect Negates any effects activated in the grave by sending this card to the grave from your hand. As such, you can negate the Hands chain combo at the source.

To get rid of the hands combo, I'll use one of this 3 cards.
First "Bottomless trap hole" for banishing the next hand before it gets summoned. Second I'll use "Madolche nightmares" to negate the effect of the hand after it goes to the graveyard, so it won't destroy anything and won't summon another hand. Finally I'll use macrocosmos, so it wont touch the graveyard after it is destroyed and so his effect won't get activate.

I have found three ways to get rid the hands combo, those card are.
1)Debunk - That card will be useful to get rid of the combo because the effect happen in the grave that can be negated and remove from the play.
2)Ghostrick Vanish - If an opponent attacking with the fire hand on ghostrick, so it will destroyed and the effect happen to destroyed my monster I can chain Vanish to reveal ghostrick monster so that monster wont get destroyed because the effect have to destroyed to special summon ice but the effect will have fail.
3)D.D Crow - When a ice or fire hand effect happen I'd chain to remove the hand from the grave because hand effect only use in the grave but it remove from the grave that would break hand combo.

1macro cosmos could stop hands easy with banishing them so they cant use there effs while they are banished 2 dimensonal fissure dame thing banished no eff can be used 3 can use two monsters to banish them insted of going to the gravyard wich they are banisher of the light and banisher of the radiance and 4 you can use d.d warrior or d.d warrior lady 5 you tribute summon caius the shadow monarach 6 if you realy cant stop them you have to use big eye eff in case you have him 7 if your oponent used a hand to summon another you can use number 101 to take it i hope all i said is right thanks
